One month old!

Yesterday we took Ian to the doctor for his one month check-up. Everything checked out fine, he's doing great . He weighs 11 lbs 4 oz, so he's growing just like he's supposed to. He is starting to stay awake a bit more, making cute little sounds and giving us lots of smiles (just not when I have the camera out!). Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last week or so. Two Weeks Old

Last Friday (12/4) Ian was two weeks old. We took a bunch of pictures, here are some of my favorites. He has cute little dimples that are very hard to catch with a camera. I can't believe how much he is changing already!

Ian lost more weight than the doctors like to see in the first couple days, so they had us stay an extra night. But now he's gaining like a champ and we've been home for a couple days. Ian's personality is almost as cute as his face and he's pretty agreeable most of the time. I'm recovering well from the C-section, getting a little better every day. I guess that's it for now. Stay tuned for more.

Yep, 4230 grams, that's 9 pounds and 5 oz!

The first time we really got to see Ian's pretty blue eyes. I guess we'll see in a few months if they stay that color.

Ian Kade arrived on Friday, Nov 20th at 5:06 pm, weighing in at 9 lb 5 oz! We are all doing really well and expect to be going home tomorrow. Here are a couple pictures from my phone - I'll post more when we get home and figure out how to get them off the new camera. We couldn't be any prouder!

37 Weeks

This picture was taken on Saturday, one day shy of the 37 week mark. So I'm sure the belly is even bigger by now. Baby's due date is Nov 15th. We'll try to keep you posted with any updates!

Here we go

Hopefully I can figure out how to do this blogging thing. Thought I'd start out with pictures of the nursery to share with everybody. I really like the way it turned out. Now we just need Baby to arrive so we can start using some of this stuff!

My friend Shanna helped me paint the mural. Hopefully our little boy likes it for quite a while because it definitely took quite a bit of time. But I think it was worth it!
