Talking and laughing - finally caught on video. Usually I just get Allison and Keith making silly sounds and Ian staring at us like we're nuts. But this time he actually felt like playing along I guess. You'll have to forgive the terrible filming quality, I'm not good enough to tickle the baby and hold the camera steady at the same time.

Four Months

Wow, can you believe Ian will be 4 months old tomorrow? We have now entered the drooling and hair-pulling stage. But it's a lot of fun with all the laughing and squealing, too. Ian seems to have a good time at daycare. He has had his first cold and ear infection, but from what I've heard about babies with colds, it really wasn't too bad. He wasn't even that cranky with it. He loves splashing in the bath, sitting (propped up), pushing up to standing on his legs while you're holding him, and just generally looking around at everything all the time. Like our friend Eric said, "There's not a lot of blinking going in your world, is there?"

Today we got a foot of snow, but yesterday was 65 degrees! We had to take advantage of the nice weather, so Ian and I took a walk. Well, I walked - Ian came along for the ride so he could lick the Snuggli...

Ian spends a lot of time sucking on his lips, cracking us up with the silly faces he makes.
