Five Months
I thought I would be at least throwing some pictures on here every week or so - but lately I'm just not making it. We take plenty of pictures, they just tend to live in the camera a little longer than that. Ian is already 5 months old. Actually, 5 months and 1 week. He is a happy, happy boy. He thinks Mom and Dad are the funniest, most amusing things in the world - well, in addition to his feet. We've tried rice cereal and oatmeal, which are also a lot of fun. He can roll over in both directions, but hasn't figured out yet that it's a skill that can get him places. He can't quite sit up by himself yet, but I think that's coming next. Poor Ian has a little eczema lately and is always clawing at his head with his razor sharp little fingernails. We cut or file the nails almost every day, but still he manages to scratch himself. You'll see. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last month:
While he waits for his cereal, Ian happily chews on the high chair for a few minutes. He'll pretty much chew on anything that comes within range.

Snuggles with Daddy. We love that he hugs us back now.
Getting the hang of this spoon thing.

Like the new hat?

I guess I surprised him just as he was going to lick the toy.
Say "cheese"!
Now what?
Last Friday we had a freak lunchtime blizzard. Here's Ian by the windows at daycare.
