More Pics

Things sure change fast around here these days. Yesterday, Ian couldn't sit up by himself and today he can. Just needs the right motivation I guess. He's very big into banging on things, sometimes making so much noise he scares himself. That's new, too, getting scared by loud noises; all of a sudden one day I turned on the vacuum and it scared him. He's also been busy growing hair - you can actually see it in the pictures now!

Sat up by himself long enough to bang the heck out of this toy. Even leaned down to suck on the orange top and was able to straighten up again without toppling over.
Playing with his cousin. Oh, the faces this kid makes!

I love sweaters. Not sure Ian feels the same. Whenever I think he's dressed really cute he spits up all over himself or something.

Happy Mother's Day, Grandma,
and Nana! Not sure why we're all looking different directions...All dressed and ready for school.
Love those toes!
One of my favorite shots
Love this one, too.

Nana and Papa's

Nana and Papa's house is so much fun. They play with Ian at the dinner table.... They tell funny stories.... (Check out his face - he looks like he's about to bust a gut!)
They do amazing tricks....
They have baby ducks to play with....
Ok, ok, enough of the duck....
Let's go check out the goats! Phew - all tuckered out!

Zoo

Ian took his first trip to the zoo with us a couple weeks ago. Here he is all ready to go.
Ian wasn't really interested in most of the animals, which we expected. He didn't like the sun or the wind in his face, either.
But he did have a few good moments.
He enjoyed Tropical Discovery area (indoor section with snakes and fish and lizzards and things) much better. No wind, no sun, and you are a lot closer to some brightly colored, fast moving animals. There was a big, bright yellow snake slithering around that really made him giggle. :) Plus, he really likes looking at plants.
The baby giraffe (in the back.) Ian was asleep in the Moby wrap by the time we got to this point.
